Ilias, Fayçal et Lazare sont trois amis d’enfance qui s’engagent pour l’accès à l’eau dans leur communauté. À travers leur initiative, ils emmènent dans l’aventure des jeunes de Ouagadougou et du village de Wara. Leur objectif : apporter l’eau et créer de meilleures conditions de vie dans ce petit village où l’exode semblait jusqu’alors être le premier choix des jeunes.
Ce documentaire (26’) met en avant l’impact de leur initiative sur la vie de ces jeunes, et sur celle des jeunes filles de leur communauté. Construit en deux temps, nous rencontrons les trois garçons en 2016 aux prémices du projet et à son aboutissement en 2019.
Ilias, Fayçal and Lazare are three childhood friends who are committed to access to water for their community. In their initiative, they work together with young people from Ouagadougou from the remote village of Wara. Their goal: to give access to water and create better living conditions in this small village, and prevent the rural exodus which seems to be the first choice of young people.
This documentary (26′) highlights the impact of their initiative on the lives of these young people and on that of the young girls in their community. We meet the three boys in 2016 at the beginning of the project and at its completion in 2019.
